Structure of the subject: Lectures - 3 hours weekly, Tutorial - 2 hours weekly, Laboratory - 1 hour weekly.

The students are expected to read the current lab assignment and to produce a preparation report before coming to class. Lab reports will be due at the beginning of the following lab.
Laboratory experiments should be conducted in two to four students groups.
Lab attendance is compulsory. Missed labs will result in failing the class.
    Labs Description
Assessment

Written exam 90% (intermediate tests 30%, at student request), laboratory reports 10%, lecture attendance: less than 30%, -0.5 points; more than 70%, +0.5 points. The exam subjects.
( Evaluare: examen scris 90% (la cererea studentilor, examen partial 30%), referate de laborator 10%, prezenta la curs: sub 30%, -0.5 puncte; peste 70%, +0.5 puncte.)

Notes:

  1. A successful final qualification is conditioned by obtaining at least the mark of 5 at examination and laboratory.
  2. Students must be fully aware, however, that any sort of cheating will have severe consequences, and that cheating includes things such as unauthorized notes stored in calculators or any sort of communication with other students during exams.
