The Department of Electronics and Computers, established in 1990 as a consequence of the research and development activity performed by the academic and research staff of the former Department of Electrical Engineering in the areas of electronics, microprocessors, microcontrollers and software, was and is involved in some cooperation programs, especially with respect to programs funded by the European Union.
